Role Overview The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving B2B sales growth within the assigned territory by managing and mentoring a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs). The role focuses on retailer acquisition, retention, order growth, relationship management, and execution excellence on the Superstore by Nykaa platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

- Drive territory-wise revenue targets and ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly sales goals.
- Increase retailer onboarding and active buyer base on the Superstore platform.
- Improve order frequency and average order value (AOV).
- Identify high-potential markets and expansion opportunities.

2. Team Management & Development

- Manage, train, and mentor the team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) within the assigned territory.
- Set clear KPIs and performance expectations for BDEs.
- Conduct regular field visits and joint sales calls to guide the team.
- Motivate BDEs to meet and exceed targets.

3. Retailer Acquisition & Relationship Management





- Travel within the assigned territory to onboard new retailers.
- Support BDEs in acquiring and activating current retailers.
- Build long-term relationships with key retailers to ensure retention and repeat business.
- Address retailer concerns and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
- Collect market intelligence and competitor insights.

4. Sales Execution & Process Implementation

- Implement structured sales processes to help BDEs identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects.
- Monitor team performance metrics (coverage, productivity, conversion rates).
- Ensure proper usage and adoption of the Superstore app among retailers.
- Drive promotional campaigns and new product launches in the territory.

5. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

- Provide regular sales performance reports to senior management.
- Share customer feedback, demand trends, and improvement suggestions.
- Maintain accurate sales data and territory records.
