Job Title:

Application Engineer – Agile testing

Job Role Description:

- Commercial vehicle static & dynamic system testing in test track environment (Anti-lock Brake System, Electronic Brake System, Stability system, ADAS, Conventional brake system)
- Ensure all safety precautions during testing
- Evaluation of test performance data with respect to specification and standards (IS 11852, ECE, etc) and define improvements
- Provide the valuable inputs about the vehicle dynamics as a driver perception
- Documents and analyses the results and creates the respective reports following the appropriate guidelines & task base activates
- Manage & guide Jr. Engineer & technicians
- Planning and optimization of vehicle testing activity to best optimise the utilization of test track & vehicle testing time
- Coordination with global teams and experts for project reviews and testing activates and knowledge exchange
- Continuous learning and upgradation of Knowledge and skill as per evolving technology trend




- Customer interaction for communication related to testing activities project reviews & follow-up on need basis
- Take-up vehicle testing related activity at various geographical locations mainly with in India as per need to project
- Manage the Brake system calculation & provide inputs in design improvements
- Vehicle Instrumentation and data acquiring

Education required:

- Bachler’s in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering with 4 - 7 yrs experience

Professional Experience:

- Hands on experience on commercial vehicle testing
- System knowledge of Conventional Air Brake, ABS, EBS, ADAS, Transmission, Steering
- Awareness of ECR13, IS11852, AIS 150 & other Automotive standards.
- Preferred experience of working at Tier-1 brake system suppliers & OEM’s also from certification agency
- Exposure on electrical interface used in commercial vehicles (Example - CAN)
