Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled 2D animation artist who can create expressive, high-quality animations using traditional 2D animation software and AI-assisted tools. The candidate will work on character animation, scene movement, and animation refinement while using tools such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Seedance, and Premiere Pro to support the production workflow.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 2D character animations, actions, expressions, and movements based on storyboards, animatics, and creative briefs.
- Use Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or other relevant 2D animation software to develop and refine animations.
- Use AI-assisted tools, including Seedance, to explore motion concepts, generate animation references, or support suitable production tasks.
- Refine AI-generated animation outputs to improve timing, movement, character consistency, and visual quality.
- Apply animation principles such as timing, spacing, anticipation, squash and stretch, follow-through, and exaggeration.
- Ensure consistency in character design, movement, proportions, and animation style.




- Edit and assemble animation shots or sequences using Adobe Premiere Pro when required.
- Collaborate with storyboard artists, character designers, compositors, and other production team members.
- Incorporate feedback, fix animation errors, and deliver work according to production schedules.
- Follow project guidelines, naming conventions, file-management practices, and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Good understanding of 2D animation principles and character movement.
- Working knowledge of Flash/Adobe Animate or Toon Boom Harmony.
- Familiarity with Seedance and other relevant AI-assisted animation tools.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and assembling sequences.
- Ability to interpret storyboards, references, and animation briefs.
- Strong observation, timing, visual storytelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to review and refine AI-generated content rather than relying entirely on unedited outputs.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating 2D animation skills is required.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-assisted animation or video-generation workflows.
- Understanding of animation production pipelines, shot continuity, and scene assembly.
- Knowledge of compositing or additional video-editing tools is an advantage.
- Ability to balance creative quality with production deadlines.
