Role Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur. This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring timely payments in line with company policies. Day-to-day tasks include managing and reconciling accounts payable ledgers, preparing and reviewing expense reports, assisting with month-end closing through accurate journal entries,



and resolving invoice or payment discrepancies.

The specialist will collaborate closely with finance and procurement teams, maintain up-to-date records, support audits, and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.

Qualifications

- Strong Accounting and Finance skills, including a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
- Hands-on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger reconciliation.
- Proficiency in handling Expense Reports and related documentation.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software and intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
- Attention to detail, robust numerical aptitude, and the ability to work with strict timelines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
