Assistant Manager - AP/AR - A Product-based Tech Startup, Bengaluru

Role & Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable operations, including invoicing, billing, vendor payments, and collections.
- Handle vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
- Monitor AP/AR ageing, payments, collections, and outstanding balances.
- Manage month-end closing, ledger scrutiny, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate accounting of invoices, receipts, credit/debit notes, and transactions.
- Ensure GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers for query resolution.
- Support statutory/internal audits, financial reporting, and internal control improvements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong knowledge of end-to-end AP/AR and corporate accounting operations.
- Hands-on experience in vendor management, billing, invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Experience in reconciliations, AP/AR ageing, and month-end closing.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Working knowledge of GL, balance sheet reconciliations,



and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder management abilities.
