Position: Accounts Assistant – Sales Ledger & Credit Control

Department: UK Operations – Finance & Accounts

Work Location: Mohali, Punjab, India

Velantrio Ventures is expanding its UK Operations team and looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Assistant to support UK-based accounting, sales ledger management, invoicing, and credit control activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing and issuing sales invoices accurately and on time.
- Reconciling bank transactions and accounts using Xero.
- Following up on overdue customer payments and confirming payment dates.
- Processing supplier payments and preparing payment runs.
- Allocating customer receipts and reconciling remittances.
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and payment queries.
- Issuing amended invoices and credit notes.
- Preparing customer statements and monitoring outstanding balances.




- Communicating with UK customers and suppliers to resolve account queries.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software.
- Knowledge of sales invoicing and sales ledger management.
- Experience in bank and account reconciliation.
- Understanding of credit control and payment collection.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with UK-based customers and suppliers.
- Previous UK accounting or finance process experience will be an advantage.
