About The Open RoomThe Open Room is an architecture and design studio integrating qualified practice, research and educational initiatives. We collaborate with academic institutions to develop and deliver structured educational programmes, bridging the gap between architectural practice and education.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a B.Arch graduate to take ownership of academic planning, curriculum development and institutional coordination. The candidate will play a key role in developing course structures and ensuring the smooth execution of academic programmes across our partner institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop structured course syllabi and detailed hour-by-hour teaching plans.
- Prepare academic calendars, session plans and curriculum documentation.
- Coordinate with college management, faculty members and internal teams.
- Plan faculty schedules and coordinate academic requirements.
- Organise and oversee academic programmes,
workshops and institutional activities.
- Monitor programme execution and ensure smooth day-to-day academic operations.
- Establish standardised academic frameworks for institutional collaborations.
Eligibility & Requirements
- B.Arch degree is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of architectural subjects and academic curriculum.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organisational, planning and documentation abilities.
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Prior academic or teaching coordination experience will be an added advantage.
