– AC Technician (Industrial)

Job Purpose To carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of industrial air-conditioning systems, HVAC equipment and ventilation systems to ensure uninterrupted operation and proper environmental conditions across the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Industrial AC & HVAC Maintenance

- Install, inspect, maintain and repair industrial air-conditioning systems.
- Handle split ACs, ductable ACs, package AC units and centralised HVAC systems.
- Maintain AHUs (Air Handling Units), FCUs (Fan Coil Units), exhaust and ventilation systems.
- Monitor cooling performance, temperature, airflow and system pressure.

2. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of AC and HVAC equipment.
- Attend breakdowns and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Identify refrigerant leakage, compressor issues, motor faults and drainage problems.
- Clean filters, cooling coils, condenser coils and drain lines.

3. Electrical & Refrigeration Works

- Check compressors, motors, contactors, relays, capacitors and thermostats.
- Handle refrigerant gas charging, leak testing and vacuuming.




- Check refrigerant pressure and operating parameters.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical controls and safety devices.

4. Utilities & Facility Maintenance

- Monitor and maintain cooling systems in production areas, offices and other facility locations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for maintenance activities.
- Ensure minimum downtime of critical cooling equipment.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Hands-on knowledge of industrial AC and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshooting of compressors, motors and refrigeration circuits.
- Knowledge of refrigerant handling, gas charging and leak detection.
- Understanding of electrical wiring and control circuits.
- Knowledge of AHUs, ductable ACs and package AC systems.
- Ability to read basic electrical and HVAC diagrams.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Educational Qualification ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) / Electrical / Mechanical.

Experience

2–6 years of hands-on experience in industrial AC maintenance, HVAC maintenance or facility maintenance.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
