Job Title: DTP & Data Entry Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented DTP & Data Entry Operator to join our team. In this role, you will bridge content creation and production by designing, typesetting, and formatting high-quality academic and promotional materials—including textbooks, workbooks, brochures, and posters. You will collaborate closely with educators and administrative teams to turn raw content into structured, visually engaging print and digital assets while managing end-to-end print operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, Formatting & Typesetting

- Transform draft content into professionally formatted, publication-ready educational resources using DTP tools.
- Develop balanced page layouts by arranging text, typography, graphics, and figures with strict attention to spacing, alignment, and visual hierarchy.
- Create and maintain standardized design templates and style guidelines across all institutional materials.
- Partner with faculty and academic teams to translate pedagogical needs into effective visual designs.

2. Print Operations & Production Management

- Oversee the end-to-end printing process post-design approval, operating digital printers, copiers, and plotters.
- Configure precise print settings (paper weight, color profile, bleed, and resolution) to maintain output quality.
- Monitor, track,



and manage inventory levels for paper, ink cartridges, toner, and binding supplies.

3. Quality Assurance & Proofreading

- Perform thorough quality control checks on proof prints for color fidelity, alignment, and clarity.
- Review materials for layout inconsistencies, typographical errors, and formatting flaws prior to mass production.
- Coordinate final sign-offs with content creators and academic heads.

Eligibility Criteria

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience: Open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with prior experience in DTP, document formatting, graphic design, or print press operations.

Core Competencies & Skills

- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with desktop publishing and layout software (Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, LaTeX, or MS Word).
- Typing & Formatting: High typing speed with solid accuracy in numerical and textual data entry.
- Print Knowledge: Familiarity with basic commercial printing techniques, paper types, and equipment maintenance.
- Team Collaboration: Clear verbal and written communication skills to gather creative briefs and act on feedback efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for visual aesthetics, typographic consistency, and error-free documentation.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
