As an Operations Engineer, a typical day involves overseeing the smooth functioning of production systems and services, ensuring they meet operational requirements and service agreements. This role requires continuous monitoring, managing delivery processes, and addressing any issues that arise to maintain system reliability and performance. The position demands coordination with various teams to uphold service standards and support operational excellence throughout the day. Configure, validate, and troubleshoot Exchange Online mail flow rules and transport configurations. Perform end-to-end testing of email aliasing and rewrite mechanisms using CES/secure email gateway solutions. Validate inbound and outbound mail routing across multiple Microsoft 365 tenants. Ensure successful mail delivery and interoperability across internal and external domains. Execute testing and validation of: Microsoft Purview DLP policies Encryption policies Journaling requirements Email disclaimers and transport rules Retention and compliance controls Collaborate with DLP, Legal, Security, and Compliance teams to resolve policy issues and document outcomes.



Perform mailbox analysis and alias conflict identification. Maintain remediation tracker and drive closure of alias-related issues. Coordinate with business and technical teams for resolution of naming conflicts and mail routing concerns. 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Exchange Online Administration. Strong understanding of: Exchange Online Mail Flow Connectors and Transport Rules Shared Mailboxes Microsoft 365 Messaging Services Hands-on experience with: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC Email Security Gateways (Cisco CES, Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar) Microsoft Purview Compliance and DLP Message Trace and Email Troubleshooting Robust knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features. Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity certifications (preferred)

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Exchange Online.
