Core Technical Lead – Clean Propulsion & New Technologies
Location: Mumbai (travel to shipyards and vessels in India and abroad)
Reports to: Managing Director

Key responsibilities
Develop technical solutions for clean propulsion: hybrid-electric and battery-electric vessels, energy storage, PMS/EMS, shore connection and charging systems.
Drive new product development, including AC companies own electronics, fuel monitoring, data logging and IoT-based analytics.
Evaluate and introduce current technologies and OEM partnerships into the company's offering.
Prepare system architectures, single-line diagrams, IO lists, BOMs and technical proposals.
Lead design reviews, PLC/HMI engineering (Siemens preferred), panel design and FAT.
Coordinate class approval with DNV, LR, ABS, BV, ClassNK and IRS.
Support commissioning and sea trials on newbuilds and retrofits.




Mentor junior engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, E&TC; or Naval Architecture.
8+ years in marine or offshore engineering, with hands-on automation or electrical systems work.
Exposure to hybrid/electric propulsion, battery systems or alternative fuels is strongly preferred.

Skills
Robust grasp of marine power systems, propulsion and automation.
PLC/SCADA, communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, CAN) and power electronics.
Knowledge of class rules and IMO decarbonisation requirements.

Explicit technical writing and client-facing presentation.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
