Software Development Engineers to build data products on Google Cloud for a large US enterprise data platform. The role involves end-to-end development of data pipelines and data products within an Agile Scrum team, from design through production deployment.

Develop and maintain data pipelines and data products on BigQuery, Dataflow and Cloud Composer.
Implement source-to-target mappings and canonical model designs as production-ready code.
Write unit tests and data quality checks, and reconcile outputs against source systems.
Analyse and resolve defects,



and document root causes.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
Use CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows to promote code across settings.
Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow.

Skills
3 to 6 years of experience in software or data engineering, including at least 2 years on Google Cloud data services.
Robust SQL skills, including complex transformations, window functions and performance tuning in BigQuery.
Proficiency in Python; experience with Apache Beam, Spark or similar processing frameworks.
Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow or Cloud Composer) and Git-based CI/CD.
Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
Experience working in Agile teams using Jira.

Positive to Have
Google Cloud Associate or Professional Data Engineer certification.
Familiarity with ERP data such as SAP or PeopleSoft.
Exposure to data quality or observability tools.
Experience working with US-based teams.
