Requirements

- 6-10 years of hands-on experience in VMC programming and CNC machining.

- Strong knowledge of Fanuc / HAAS CNC controllers.

- Excellent knowledge of G-codes, M-codes and CNC programming methods.

- Experience in CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Solidcam or NX CAM.

- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings (2D).

- Positive knowledge of cutting tools, tool geometry, tool selection and machining parameters.

- Experience in machining strategy development, fixture planning and process optimization.

- Knowledge of GD&T;, dimensional tolerances and precision machining.

- Experience in handling and leading a team of VMC programmers.

- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex programming and machining issues

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and lead all VMC programmers and allocate programming activities based on project priorities.





- Monitor daily programming progress and ensure timely completion of assigned programs.

- Guide, train and support junior and senior VMC programmers.

- Review programmer performance, workload and productivity.

- Ensure proper coordination between programmers, production supervisors, operators and the quality team.

- Conduct regular technical reviews and resolve programming-related issues.

- Drive cycle-time reduction and improve machining productivity.

- Optimize cutting tool utilization and improve tool life.

- Identify and eliminate programming-related machining losses.

- Improve machine utilization through effective programming planning.

- Implement continuous improvement activities to reduce machining costs.

- Support production planning to ensure timely program availability for all scheduled jobs.
