Job Summary

Rabwin Intelligent Private Limited is looking for an experienced and motivated VMC Setter cum Operator to set up, operate, and optimize Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for precision component manufacturing. The role requires expertise in machine setup, tooling, program loading, process control, and quality inspection to ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Setup & Programming

- Set up VMC machines as per production requirements and process sheets.
- Install and align fixtures, jigs, cutting tools, and workpieces.
- Load CNC programs and verify machining parameters before production.
- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and coordinate systems.
- Conduct trial runs and make necessary corrections to achieve required dimensions.

Machine Operation
- Operate VMC machines efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor machining processes and adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets when required.
- Ensure uninterrupted production by minimizing machine downtime.
- Perform tool changes and tool life monitoring.

Quality Control
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T; requirements.
- Inspect machined components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure all components meet dimensional and quality specifications.
- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Identify and troubleshoot machining defects, tool wear,



and process issues.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and daily machine checks.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for machine breakdowns and repairs.
- Ensure proper machine housekeeping and cleanliness.

Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Use appropriate PPE and maintain a safe working workplace.
- Comply with quality management and production standards.

Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 3-8 years of experience as a VMC Setter, VMC Operator, or CNC Machining Operator.
- Hands-on experience in VMC machine setup and operation.
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC controllers is preferred.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and machining processes.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
