Job Summary:- We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 36 years of experience in smart meter or energy meter testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in FQC, IPQC, meter accuracy testing, calibration, and electrical safety testing.
Key Responsibilities
Perform FQC and IPQC activities for smart meters and energy meters.
Conduct meter accuracy testing using a meter test bench and reference standard meter.
Perform starting current, no-load, HV, and IR tests.
Handle meter calibration and dial testing.
Ensure product compliance with IS 16444 and IS 13779 standards.
Maintain quality inspection reports and testing records.
Support FAI (First Article Inspection) and quality audits.
Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure adherence to quality procedures and testing standards.
Support NABL-related testing and documentation requirements, where applicable.
