We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this entry-level role, you will execute tests, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Tests: Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing on web and mobile apps.
- Log Defects: Identify, document, and track software bugs using tools like Jira.
- Write Test Cases: Create clear, comprehensive test cases based on project requirements.
- Verify Fixes: Retest resolved bugs to ensure fixes are successful and stable.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in daily Agile/Scrum team meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: Any Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in software testing or QA.
- Core Skills:
Solid understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Technical Basics: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and simple SQL queries.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail and clear written communication for bug reporting.
- Pluses: Experience with Postman (API) or basic automation tools (Selenium, Playwright).
