About Us

Bright India Traders is a textile manufacturer and supplier based in Erode, Tamil Nadu, established in 2005. We supply bedsheets, towels, cleaning cloths, floor dusters, and home textiles to government departments, institutions, and buyers in India and abroad.

Job Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented and proactive interns to support our tender operations, documentation, and procurement activities. This role offers practical experience in government procurement, GeM, supplier coordination, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Search GeM and other government portals for relevant tenders.
- Review tender requirements, specifications, eligibility criteria, and deadlines.
- Maintain tender trackers and records using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Prepare and verify tender documents and submission files.
- Contact government departments to clarify tender requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, samples, and deliveries.
- Compare supplier prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Support purchasing activities and maintain supplier records.




- Identify operational improvements and assist in creating standard operating procedures.
- Use AI tools where helpful to improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed BBA, B.Com, BMS, MBA, or a related degree.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic Excel or Google Sheets knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Confidence in communicating with government offices and suppliers by phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Ability to commit to five working days per week for three months.
- Own laptop required.

No prior tender or GeM experience is required. Training will be provided.

Internship Details

- Monday–Friday, approximately 4–5 hours per day.
- Adaptable working hours around college schedules.
- Hybrid work arrangement with a Bengaluru coworking space.
- ₹5,000 monthly stipend.
- Coworking space expenses covered for in-person days.
- Internship certificate and potential full-time opportunity based on performance.
