Job Summary

ServiceNow Developer

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience with ServiceNow application development, scripting, workflows, integrations, and IT Service Management (ITSM).

The candidate will work closely with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Customize ServiceNow forms, tables, fields, views, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules.
- Develop server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript.
- Implement and maintain workflows, Flow Designer flows, and Service Catalog items.
- Configure and support core ITSM modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Work with Script Includes, UI Actions, ACLs, Scheduled Jobs, and Notifications.
- Develop and customize Service Portal components as required.
- Configure Service Level Agreements (SLAs),



assignment rules, and approval workflows.
- Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Troubleshoot application issues, debug scripts, and optimize platform performance.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Service Catalog.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow tables, forms, fields, ACLs, and database concepts.
- Experience with Update Sets, application deployment, and instance migration.
- Understanding of ServiceNow security, access controls, and role-based permissions.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
