Position: Information Security Manager (SOC)

Experience: 10+ years overall, with a minimum of 6 years in SOC Operations

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Manager to lead 24/7 Security Operations Centre activities, strengthen the organization's security posture, improve threat detection and response capabilities, and ensure effective security operations in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily SOC operations and ensure timely monitoring and investigation of security alerts.
- Drive continuous improvement of SIEM monitoring, including use-case development, rule testing, and log management.
- Manage SOC MSSP partnerships and coordinate with internal teams to improve monitoring effectiveness.
- Establish incident response frameworks, procedures, documentation, and playbooks.
- Drive security automation initiatives to improve incident response efficiency.
- Develop and monitor SOC performance metrics, KRIs, and KPIs.
- Prepare monthly security posture reports and present threat trends and operational updates to senior management.
- Coordinate with IT and Cloud teams to resolve security issues and operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements related to SOC operations.

Mandatory Requirements:





- Minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in SOC Operations.
- SIEM & Log Management: Deep expertise in SIEM upkeep, custom use-case creation, rule testing, log validation, and log stoppage resolution.
- SOAR & Incident Response: Proven ability to establish incident response frameworks, playbooks, and automated SOAR workflows to reduce response times.
- SOC Operations & MSSP Governance: Minimum 6 years of direct SOC operational experience (10 years overall), managing MSSP partners, high-rated alerts, and coverage expansion.
- Metrics & Analytics: Ability to design KRIs/KPIs to measure efficiency and utilize MS Excel for detailed operational tracking.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field.

Preferred:

- Relevant professional certifications in Information Security, SIEM, SOC Operations, or Incident Response.
- Experience in BFSI, NBFC, or financial services.
- Exposure to 24/7 SOC environments and security automation initiatives.
- Solid proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for operational tracking and executive reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
