Junior OPT Recruiter

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated junior recruiter to source and recruit candidates for IT roles. You’ll take candidates from first contact through onboarding.

Responsibilities

- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, university networks, and referrals
- Screen candidates on technical background, communication skills, and work authorization
- Explain our process, training, and placement path clearly and honestly
- Collect and verify documents (EAD, I-20, resume, degree details)
- Track candidates in our ATS and keep records up to date
- Coordinate with the bench sales and training teams on candidate readiness
- Meet weekly sourcing and onboarding targets

Requirements

- About 1 year of experience in US IT recruiting, OPT recruiting preferred
- Working knowledge of F-1 OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, and H-1B basics
- Familiarity with IT roles (Java, .NET, Data, QA, DevOps, Cloud, etc.)
- Solid spoken and written English
- Comfortable with high-volume calling and job portals
- Organized, target-driven, and eager to learn
