– L2 Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer responsible for managing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

- Switching: Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, Access/Trunk ports, VTP, STP/RSTP, MSTP, EtherChannel, switch stacking, and Layer 2 loops.
- Routing: Work on Static Routing, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, BGP, route redistribution, and inter-VLAN routing.
- Network Security: Manage ACLs, AAA, 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and network access policies.
- Wireless Networking: Configure and troubleshoot Access Points (APs), Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), roaming, mobility, and connectivity issues.
- Firewall Management: Handle NGFW, security policies, NAT/PAT, IPsec/SSL VPN, web filtering, and firewall troubleshooting.
- SD-WAN & WAN: Troubleshoot WAN connectivity, SD-WAN, link failover, routing, and ISP-related issues.
- Network Monitoring: Use Wireshark, packet captures, CLI tools, and monitoring platforms to identify and resolve network issues.
- Incident Management:



Independently handle L2/L3 network incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure timely resolution within SLA.
- Implementation & Changes: Execute network upgrades, firmware updates, device replacements, and migrations as per approved MOPs.
- Coordination & Documentation: Coordinate with OEM TAC, L3 teams, and ISPs. Maintain network diagrams, configuration backups, MOPs, RCA reports, and technical documentation.
- Customer Coordination: Provide technical updates, participate in incident bridges, and coordinate with customers during critical outages and planned maintenance.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise Firewalls and Wireless Networks.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN, VPN, and network security.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in handling network incidents and SLA-based operations.
- Solid communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
