Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using UG NX software.

- Design fixtures and prepare corresponding 2D drawings using UG NX.

- Apply GD&T; principles accurately during modelling and drawing creation.
- Incorporate design changes and revise 2D drawings and 3D models as required.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and team members to collect design inputs and clarify requirements.
- Review design concepts, assess manufacturability, and recommend design improvements.

• Maintain design databases, engineering records, and updated design documentation.
- Stay updated on relevant CAD tools, design methods, and engineering technologies.

Required Technical Skills

- UG NX: Strong hands-on experience in 3D modelling, assembly modelling, and 2D drafting.
- Fixture Design: Practical experience in designing jigs/fixtures and understanding fixture components and layouts.





• Clamping Systems: Hands-on knowledge of advanced clamping arrangements and their application in fixture design.

- GD&T;: Valuable understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, with the ability to apply it in engineering drawings.

- Manufacturing & Quality: Understanding of manufacturing feasibility and exposure to PFMEA and PPAP documentation.

Experience & Qualification

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, CAD modelling, and fixture design

. • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Candidates with practical UG NX experience and exposure to production fixture design will be preferred.
