Designation - Manager Purchase

Qualification - BE – Mechanical Engineer

Experience - Minimum with 12 years’ of experience

Age - 35 to 45 years

CTC - 10 to 12 lacs per annum (based on the exp.)

Languages known - Tamil, English & Hindi (Mandatory)

Location of Work - Chennai

Skill Requirement

Solid field experience in purchase of machined components and fabricates items.

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and long-term contracts.

Ensure cost reduction, value engineering, and productivity improvement initiatives.

Proven ability to locate & nurture new vendors and ability to lead a team of 6 to 10 members is necessary.





Support new product development and localization initiatives through supplier identification and development.

Oversee inventory optimization and control to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.

Handle procurement budgeting, spend analysis, and cost forecasting.

Travel up to 7 days per month for supplier development, audits, and commercial discussions.

6 days working.

Preferred candidate profile

Must be a Mechanical Engineering graduate with 10 - 12 years purchase of Machined components & fabricated items.

Must know English, Tamil and Hindi (Mandatory)

Must be willing to travel about 7 days in a month for supplier development, audits and commercial discussions.
