Job Summary

As an Engineering Associate at Rann Riders by CGH Earth, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency, physical infrastructure, and mechanical systems of the eco-resort. Aligned with CGH Earth’s core values of sustainability and environmental stewardship, you will oversee energy efficiency, water harvesting systems, waste management, and regular preventative maintenance across guest cottages, pools, and public areas while ensuring minimal impact on the local ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities1. Facility & Maintenance Operations

- Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance on guest accommodations (bhungas/cottages), main lounge, and dining facilities.
- Oversee the maintenance and water quality management of the resort’s energy-efficient Desjouaux swimming pools.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of essential services, including power backup generators, solar installations, electrical distribution, and HVAC/air conditioning systems.
- Manage plumbing networks, water pressure, solar water heaters, and eco-friendly sewage/wastewater treatment plants (STP).

1. Sustainable Infrastructure & Eco-Initiatives

- Operationalize CGH Earth’s environmental protocols by managing local water harvesting reservoirs and recycling systems.
- Monitor utility consumption (electricity, diesel, water) and implement measures to reduce carbon footprint.




- Practice eco-friendly repair techniques and waste segregation in line with responsible tourism practices.

1. General Repairs & Operational Support

- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve technical issues with minimal disturbance to guests.
- Handle basic carpentry, masonry, painting, tile repair, and hardware upkeep suitable for rustic luxury resort structures.
- Coordinate routine servicing of kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, laundry machinery, and pump rooms.

1. Safety, Compliance & Standards

- Maintain fire safety systems, hydrants, extinguishers, and emergency lighting across the property.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines and local environmental regulations.
- Assist with pre-opening/refurbishment engineering readiness for upcoming resort expansions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or ITI in relevant trades (Electrical/Air Conditioning/Plumbing).
- Experience: 1–3 years of engineering or maintenance experience in hotel operations, eco-resorts, or hospitality projects.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of HVAC systems, pool maintenance, plumbing, high/low voltage electrical systems, and diesel generator operations.
- Attributes: Passion for eco-friendly practices and sustainable resort operations; strong problem-solving skills; ability to work in remote or desert lodge environments.
- Languages: Proficiency in Gujarati and Hindi; basic working knowledge of English is preferred.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
