Experience: 5–6+ Years (as per role and designation) Certification: CPC / CCS / COC / AHIMA

We are looking for experienced Medical Coding professionals for leadership positions in US Healthcare Medical Coding. Candidates should have robust expertise in either Outpatient Facility Coding (Clinics/Ancillary) or E/M Inpatient & Outpatient Coding, along with experience in team management, operational delivery, quality management and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operational delivery for the assigned Medical Coding team.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, quality and adherence to defined SLAs.
- Provide subject matter expertise and operational guidance to coding associates.
- Ensure adherence to US Healthcare coding guidelines, client-specific requirements and quality standards.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective and improvement measures.
- Monitor coding accuracy, productivity and turnaround time to achieve operational targets.
- Identify training requirements and coordinate with Training and Quality teams to improve team performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and communicate process updates, client requirements and operational changes.
- Handle employee performance, attendance and behavioural issues effectively.




- Coordinate with Operations Managers, Quality teams and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support employee development, performance appraisals and team engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and client requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Any graduate.
- Relevant experience in US Healthcare Medical Coding.
- Strong expertise in either of the following specialties:
- Outpatient Facility Coding – Clinics / Ancillary.
- E/M Inpatient & Outpatient Coding.
- Experience in team handling, people management and operational delivery.
- Good understanding of coding quality, productivity and SLA metrics.
- Experience in client and stakeholder management.
- Medical Coding certification such as CPC, CCS, COC or AHIMA is preferred/required as per designation.
- Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience handling Outpatient Facility or E/M IP & OP Medical Coding teams.
- Professionals with prior experience in Team Lead, Senior Team Lead, Operations Lead or Delivery Lead roles.
- Strong understanding of US Healthcare coding guidelines and operational processes.
