The Role

As a Management Consultant at Backo, you will operate in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Success in this role requires sharp logical reasoning combined with technical precision.

As a provider of niche services to global enterprises, we are seeking professionals with strong personal integrity who genuinely enjoy decoding complex business challenges. During your first few months, you will work closely with our consultants and senior consultants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the various dimensions of our engagements.

The learning curve at Backo is exceptionally steep. Because our engagements involve highly technical topics, you will be assigned independent study and preparation tasks tailored to your learning pace. This continuous preparation is essential to help you build a robust technical foundation. Furthermore, we expect you to be highly self-driven throughout this process proactively taking ownership and driving activities forward rather than simply waiting for instructions.

To support your technical growth, you will actively participate in in-depth discussions focused on IFRS group reporting, designed to deepen your understanding of how complex standards apply across various industries. Because our enterprise clients rely on us for strict IFRS compliance, you are expected to stay proactively informed on evolving accounting standards and current industry discourse.



This continuous learning is critical to ensuring our clients' published financial statements remain fully compliant with the latest regulations.

Technical Capabilities

- Financial Reporting & Accounting: Exceptional command of financial reporting with a deep, up-to-date understanding of accounting standards, particularly IFRS.
- Consolidation & FP&A;: Strong foundational knowledge of financial consolidation and Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Data Analysis: High proficiency in decoding complex data sets to extract and present meaningful, actionable business insights.
- Valuations: Strong knowledge of Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models and fundamental business valuation techniques.
- Techno-Functional Mindset: An active interest in bridging finance and IT, including a willingness to learn and apply programming languages such as SQL and Python.

Qualifications & Job Details

- Education: ACCA Finalists who have successfully completed a minimum of 11 papers and are currently appearing for their Professional-level optional exams
