Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Instrumentation Junior Engineers / Engineers to handle instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting and operational support in a ductile iron pipe manufacturing plant. Candidates should have practical knowledge of industrial instruments, control systems, automation and process monitoring.

Relevant DI pipe manufacturing or heavy industrial plant experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle routine instrumentation maintenance and breakdown activities.
- Inspect, calibrate and maintain field instruments and control devices.
- Troubleshoot pressure, temperature, flow and level measurement instruments.
- Maintain transmitters, sensors, control valves and actuators.
- Perform calibration, loop checking and instrument functional testing.
- Monitor PLC, DCS and SCADA systems and coordinate with automation teams.
- Maintain instrumentation drawings, calibration records and maintenance reports.
- Support process control and automation activities in production areas.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical and Production teams.




- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and reduce equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety procedures, LOTO and permit-to-work systems.

Technical Knowledge Required
- Pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments
- Pressure and temperature transmitters
- RTD, thermocouples and proximity sensors
- Control valves, actuators and positioners
- 4–20 mA signals and basic signal troubleshooting
- PLC, DCS and SCADA fundamentals
- Instrument calibration and loop checking
- Pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems
- P&ID; and instrument loop diagrams
- Industrial automation and process control

Plant Sections Candidates may be considered for instrumentation maintenance and operations in:
- Blast Furnace
- Sinter Plant
- Power Plant

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance.
- Good understanding of process instruments and automation systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot instrument and control system faults.
- Experience working in continuous-process or heavy manufacturing industries.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Positive coordination and problem-solving skills.
