Job Responsibilities and Major Activities / Tasks:

1. IT infrastructure and operations: Lead the secure and reliable operation of Chennai Plant servers, storage, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Entra ID services, backups, service desk processes and associated infrastructure.
2. Network and cybersecurity: Manage network availability, security controls, device management, network segmentation and SD-WAN services; identify, assess and escalate operational and cybersecurity risks.
3. Virtualisation and resilience: Configure, maintain and monitor Hyper-V, failover clustering and hyperconverged infrastructure on approved Windows Server platforms; support business continuity and disaster-recovery testing.
4. End-user services: Coordinate the resolution of escalated end-user incidents and service requests, ensuring effective communication and resolution in line with agreed service levels.
5. Workplace and plant technology: Oversee IP telephony, video conferencing, VoIP, printers, CCTV, endpoint software, CAD application installation and support, and other approved plant technology services.
6. Applications and manufacturing support: Coordinate reliable support for business and manufacturing applications used at Chennai Plant, working with regional,



global and third-party support teams where required.
7. IT projects and change: Plan and deliver plant IT projects and approved India or global IT initiatives within agreed scope, schedule, budget, security and change-management requirements.
8. Budget and cost management: Prepare and manage the annual Chennai Plant IT budget, monitor expenditure and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
9. Assets, contracts and vendors: Maintain accurate IT asset and software records; manage vendors, annual maintenance contracts, service-level agreements and supplier performance to ensure service quality, compliance and value for money.
10. Compliance and audits: Support systems, inventory and process audits; maintain required documentation; and implement applicable EMS, QMS, 5S and customer-specific requirements.
11. Environmental responsibility: Ensure the secure and compliant disposal of e-waste and maintain complete disposal records.

12. Leadership and stakeholder management: Priorities operational activities, coordinate site support resources, communicate service status and risks, and work effectively with Chennai Plant stakeholders and regional and global IT teams. Role & responsibilities
