DevOps Engineer - Trainee

Join us as a DevOps Engineer Trainee and help build internal tools, automation systems, and CI/CD frameworks that power the entire engineering organization. You'll design self-service infrastructure, streamline deployments, and improve developer experience using technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions. This is a high-impact role for engineers passionate about automation, scalability, and developer enablement.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in specifying, automating, and managing standardized build environments and processes.
- Support the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enable quick, reliable software delivery.
- Contribute to automating infrastructure provisioning for compute, storage, and networking resources.
- Help implement and monitor security best practices to protect sensitive customer data.
- Instrument systems and applications to establish performance baselines and enable diagnostics.
- Automate deployment and integration workflows to streamline code releases.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with continuous feedback and iteration.

Skills required:

- Knowledge of AWS and core services (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting and programming using Python, Node.js, and Bash,



with a focus on building automation and internal tooling
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm and Kustomize for application deployment
- Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Strong understanding of software build, deployment, and configuration workflows, with a focus on automation, scalability, and reliability
- Strong skills w.r.t Shell, Ruby, Python etc. Comes with passion for automation
- Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
- Advanced problem-solving and task break-down ability.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Good programming skills in Python and shell.
- Being able to work under pressure and solve problems using an analytical approach.
- decisive, fast moving; and a positive attitude.
