Role Description The Carpenter at Techpanda will perform on-site carpentry work to support office fit-outs, studio spaces, and technical installations at the Indore location. This full-time role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, constructing and installing framing, doors, partitions, and fixtures, and completing finish carpentry to meet design and safety standards.

Daily responsibilities include using hand and power tools, assembling and repairing wooden structures,



coordinating with facility and operations teams, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The Carpenter will also inspect completed work, perform routine maintenance of tools and equipment, and assist with small renovations and layout adjustments as office and project needs evolve.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Carpentry, including construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures.
- Proficiency with Hand Tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, levels, and measuring instruments.
- Experience using Power Tools safely and effectively, including drills, sanders, and nail guns.
- Practical skills in Framing for walls, partitions, and structural elements.
- Ability to perform Finish Carpentry, including trim work, cabinets, and detailed woodwork.
- Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and best practices for on-site work.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
- Solid attention to detail, time management, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Previous experience in commercial or office carpentry; vocational training or certification in carpentry is preferred.
