Hiring: AI Architect, Microsoft Foundry | Pune, India Remote | 6-Month Contract with Possible Extension

We are hiring an AI Architect for a global enterprise client. This is a 6-month contract with possible extension , fully remote. You will design and govern enterprise AI solutions on Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry), covering agents, copilots and RAG applications, including hybrid patterns with Databricks.

What you will do

- Define architecture standards and reusable reference patterns for Foundry-based AI solutions
- Design agents, copilots and RAG applications, and integrate them securely with SharePoint, SAP, ServiceNow, Databricks and Power BI
- Set guardrails for prompt engineering, grounding, human approvals and auditability
- Lead technical design reviews and prepare architecture review board documentation
- Guide model selection and optimise token, search and endpoint costs




- Define operational runbooks, monitoring and release criteria

What you bring

- 10 to 12 years in IT across enterprise, cloud or data architecture, AI/ML engineering or integration
- 4+ years of Azure architecture and 2+ years of GenAI, LLM, RAG or agentic AI
- Hands-on or strong knowledge of Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search and Azure ML
- Secure integration experience (APIM, Entra ID, OAuth, managed identity)
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI and security controls (RBAC, Purview, audit logging)
- Databricks, Unity Catalog and vector search experience is a solid plus
