Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficiency-driven AutoHotkey / Automation Developer to design, build, and maintain desktop automation solutions. In this role, you will analyze manual operational workflows, identify repetitive digital tasks, and write robust AutoHotkey (AHK) scripts to streamline business processes, reduce human error, and accelerate task execution across Windows applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Script Development &
- Maintenance:

Write, test, and deploy custom AutoHotkey scripts, macros, and hotkey triggers for GUI-based desktop automation, window manipulation, and automated keyboard/mouse inputs.

- Process Identification &

- Analysis:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify manual, time-consuming processes and transform them into efficient, automated workflows.

- Integration &

- Interactivity:

Integrate AHK scripts with external tools, databases, APIs, COM objects (e.g., MS Office/Excel automation), DLLs, and command-line interfaces.

- UI &

- Tooling Creation:

Develop lightweight custom user interfaces (GUIs) using AutoHotkey to provide intuitive dashboards or controls for non-technical users.

- Documentation &

- Optimization:

Maintain clear documentation for custom scripts, maintain version control, and continuously optimize existing scripts for performance and stability.

- Troubleshooting &

- Support:

Debug script errors, handle edge cases, and provide timely support and maintenance for automated desktop workflows.

Required Skills &

- Technical Competencies





- AutoHotkey Expertise: Strong hands-on experience writing clean, scalable, and modular scripts in AutoHotkey (v1 and/or v2).

- Windows GUI &
- API Automation:

Deep understanding of Windows OS internals, window handles (HWND), Control commands, SendMessage/PostMessage, and UI automation frameworks.

- Regular Expressions &

- Data Parsing:

Proficiency in RegEx for string manipulation, data extraction, and screen/text parsing.

- System Integration: Experience working with COM interfaces (e.g., Excel/Word automation), HTTP/REST APIs, JSON/XML parsing, and file system operations (FileRead, FileAppend, CSV processing).

- Version Control &

- Tooling:

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for tracking script changes.

Qualifications &

- Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in scripting and automation.

- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in desktop scripting, software tool development, or process automation (RPA).

- Problem-Solving: Proven track record of automating complex, multi-step desktop tasks to save operational time.

- Communication: Strong communication skills to gather technical requirements from non-technical stakeholders and write clear documentation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
