Role Description The Branch Manager | Life Insurance | Agency channel is a full-time, in office role based in New Delhi. This position is responsible for overseeing branch operations in the agency channel, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of insurance agents. The Branch Manager will plan and execute sales strategies to achieve branch targets, ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, and monitor key metrics such as policy issuance, persistency, and customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include coaching and mentoring agents, conducting regular field visits, organizing training sessions,



and collaborating with regional leadership to drive business growth. The role also involves building strong relationships with customers and local stakeholders to strengthen the branch's market presence.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong sales, business development, and target achievement skills within the life insurance or financial services sector.
- Candidates should possess agency management skills, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance coaching of agents or advisors.
- Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
- Candidates should possess customer relationship management and communication skills to build trust and drive retention.
- Candidates should possess analytical and planning skills for forecasting, reporting, and implementing branch-level strategies.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of life insurance products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Relevant experience as a Branch Manager, Agency Manager, or similar role in life insurance or BFSI is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is desirable; professional certifications in insurance are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, with flexibility for field travel and client meetings.
