Position: Manager – Maintenance
Location: Mundur
Qualification: B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in Plant Maintenance / Plastic Manufacturing / Extrusion / Injection Moulding.
Salary: 40,000 – 45,000 per month

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

* Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules for all plant machinery and equipment.
* Ensure efficient functioning of PVC/HDPE pipe extrusion lines, injection moulding machines, moulds, cooling systems, compressors, and other utilities.
* Manage mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication-related maintenance activities.
* Minimize machine breakdowns, production downtime, maintenance costs, and equipment-related losses.
* Coordinate with Production and QA/QC teams to resolve equipment issues affecting productivity and product quality.
* Supervise maintenance supervisors, technicians, electricians, fitters, welders, and other technical personnel.
* Maintain equipment history,



preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, inspection records, and service documentation.
* Monitor spare parts, maintenance consumables, tools, and procurement requirements.
* Coordinate with machinery suppliers, external service providers, and contractors for repairs and technical support.
* Ensure compliance with electrical safety, machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and statutory requirements.
* Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, equipment upgrades, process improvements, and maintenance cost reduction.
* Ensure proper maintenance of factory utilities, electrical installations, and infrastructure.
* Prepare and submit maintenance performance reports and improvement plans to management.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO procedures, and workplace safety standards.
* Solid technical, troubleshooting, leadership, decision-making, and team management skills are essential.
