At Clarity RCM, we are engineering the operating system for modern healthcare practice operations—automating claims processing, intelligent payment pipelines, and AI-native analytics at scale. We are seeking a Principal / Staff Software Engineer to serve as the highest-level technical authority in our Chennai Engineering Center, steering multi-team platform architecture and reporting directly to our US Head of Engineering. What You’ll Architect & Lead
· Platform Architectural Direction: Drive end-to-end system design for core platform components, shared services, and distributed microservices across multiple engineering teams.
· Hands-on Technical Leadership: Deconstruct complex, ambiguous technical bottlenecks into clear, elegant, and resilient solutions. Lead from the front by writing prototype architectures, core frameworks, and critical system paths.
· Engineering Excellence & Observability: Raise the bar on distributed system performance, resilience, automated testing, distributed tracing, and CI/CD rigor.
· Technical Mentorship & Force Multiplier: Conduct high-impact system design reviews, establish technical standards, and mentor senior engineers to cultivate an elite technical bench.
· Strategic Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Product,



Security, and Engineering Management to align architectural roadmaps with long-term commercial growth. What We’re Looking For
· 18–20 Years of Engineering Track Record: Substantial depth delivering, scaling, and evolving mission-critical software systems across complex enterprise domains.
· Deep Distributed Systems & Frontend Architecture: Mastery in modern distributed backend architectures (C# / .
NET Core, Python, Cloud-Native, microservices, orchestration) & sophisticated up-to-date frontend ecosystems (React, Next.js, TypeScript).
· System Thinker & Trade-Off Master: Proven ability to effortlessly traverse from 10,000-foot enterprise architecture down to fine-grained profiling, concurrency bugs, and database queries.
· Collaborative Architectural Influence: Exceptional communication and stakeholder alignment skills—capable of synthesizing intricate technical trade-offs for engineers, product partners, and executive leaders alike.
· Cloud & DevOps Native: Deep exposure to hyperscale cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code, and automated CI/CD pipelines. Must Have
· Event-Driven Ecosystems: Hands-on experience architecting asynchronous, event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, EventBridge, CQRS/Event Sourcing).
