Role Description The Educational Counselor role at Elewayte is a full-time, in office position based in Chennai. The Educational Counselor will guide prospective and current learners in selecting suitable programs, based on their academic background, career goals, and interests. This role involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, providing information about course structures and outcomes, and supporting learners through admission and enrollment processes. The Educational Counselor will collaborate with academic and marketing teams to align counseling practices with organizational objectives and learner needs.



Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, following up with inquiries, and offering ongoing support to enhance learner satisfaction and success. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge to effectively guide learners on appropriate programs and pathways.
• Candidates should possess Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support academic decisions and long-term professional goals.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear articulation, and the ability to explain complex information in accessible terms.
• Candidates should possess abilities in relationship building, learner support, and basic administrative skills for managing counseling documentation and follow-ups.
• Relevant experience in academic advising, educational counseling, or career guidance is highly desirable.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, learner-centered environment, with strong ethical standards and a commitment to inclusivity.
