Role & Responsibilities Duty Manager SuperMarket

- Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Supervise and guide store staff to achieve operational and sales targets.
- Ensure proper stock management, inventory accuracy and stock replenishment.
- Monitor stock availability, expiry management and follow FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Control shrinkage, pilferage, damages and stock discrepancies.
- Ensure proper merchandising, planogram execution and product displays.
- Monitor Fresh Produce, Dairy and FMCG department operations.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, hygiene standards and safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular store audits and maintain operational reports.
- Monitor daily sales performance, productivity and team discipline.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager to achieve business and operational goals.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- Minimum 6 month experience in supermarket, hypermarket or retail store operations.
- Candidates from DMart, Spencer's, Nilgiris, Star Bazaar, Vishal Mega Mart and similar retail companies preferred.
- Blinkit,zepto,swiggy etc.
- Experience in handling store operations and managing a team.
- Positive knowledge of inventory management, FIFO/FEFO, shrinkage control and stock audits.
- Understanding of merchandising, planograms and customer service.
- Experience in Fresh Produce, Dairy and FMCG operations will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Graduate candidates preferred.
