Role Description The Travel Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end travel planning, including designing itineraries, managing bookings, and coordinating transportation, accommodation, and activities for individual and group travelers.

The Travel

Manager will interact directly with customers to understand their preferences, recommend destinations and packages, and ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout the travel journey. Daily tasks include negotiating with vendors, monitoring budgets, handling changes or issues in travel arrangements, and ensuring all bookings comply with company policies and partner requirements.



The role also involves maintaining accurate records, working closely with sales and operations teams, and contributing to service improvements and recent travel offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with travelers, understand needs, and resolve issues professionally.
- Proficiency in Travel Management and Travel Arrangements, including itinerary planning, booking systems, and coordination with travel partners.
- Sales skills to promote travel packages, upsell services, and support revenue growth while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Relevant experience in the travel or hospitality industry, with familiarity in domestic and international travel regulations and documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple bookings simultaneously, and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle last-minute changes.
- Comfort with using travel booking software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
- Diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
