QA/QC Engineer - PEB & Modular Construction

Site-Based Role | Projects Across India Full-Time Experience: 4-6 Years (B.E./B.Tech) / 8-10 Years (Diploma)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-driven QA/QC Engineer to uphold quality standards across our PEB and modular construction projects. The role involves managing quality assurance procedures, inspections, testing, and compliance documentation to ensure all works meet approved drawings, IS codes, and project quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control & Assurance

- Implement QA/QC procedures for PEB steel fabrication & erection, RCC works, interior finishing, and MEP activities.
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and IS codes.
- Inspect incoming materials, equipment, and workmanship for quality compliance.
- Supervise and record QC tests including concrete testing, welding inspections, bolt tightening checks, and structural inspections.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain inspection reports, test certificates, mill certificates, weld logs, and compliance records.
- Prepare NCRs, CAPA reports, and quality status reports.
- Coordinate with project teams for closure of quality issues.

Inspections & Audits

- Conduct routine site inspections and identify quality issues proactively.
- Perform subcontractor and vendor quality audits.
- Support internal/external audits and ensure timely corrective actions.

Coordination & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and IS codes.
- Assist in preparing ITPs, quality checklists, and method statements.
- Conduct quality awareness sessions for site teams and junior QA/QC staff.

Required QualificationsEducation





- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 4-6 years of experience
- OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) with 8-10 years of relevant experiencePreferred Certifications
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Other QA/QC certifications preferred

Technical Skills & Experience

- Experience in PEB, structural steel, RCC, interior, and MEP works.
- Strong knowledge of IS 800, IS 7215, IS 456, and construction quality standards.
- Familiarity with QMS, ITPs, and NDT methods.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and QA/QC reporting tools.
- Experience handling QA/QC activities across multiple project sites.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 systems preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
