About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Lead who is a hands-on engineer first and a team leader second. You will spend most of your time designing and building scalable, AI-enabled solutions and products in Python on the cloud and on-premise, while guiding a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software. We want someone with a product mindset who uses AI to solve real user problems and takes projects from idea to production.

Time split: ~70% hands-on technical work (AI and technical delivery), ~30% team management.

Key Responsibilities

AI and Technical Delivery (~70%)

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code for core product features.
- Design and build AI-powered features, including LLM applications, RAG pipelines, agents, and ML model integration.
- Own system design and architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions (AWS / Azure / GCP), including AI/ML services.
- Build products end to end,



from requirements and design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Set up evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails for AI systems (accuracy, latency, cost, safety).
- Conduct code and design reviews and set engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Team Management (~30%)
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of engineers.
- Plan sprints, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Promote responsible and effective use of AI tools across the team.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and support team members' growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Design, Data).
