Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Japanese Trainer role based in Chennai. The trainer will deliver Japanese language classes, primarily for middle school and higher-level learners, using structured lesson plans and engaging teaching methods. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating curricula, conducting classroom sessions, assigning and evaluating student work, and tracking learner progress. The role involves integrating language arts skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Japanese, while fostering explicit communication and cultural awareness.



The trainer will collaborate with academic coordinators, participate in internal training, and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching materials and methods.

Qualifications

- Experience teaching middle school or similar age groups, with the ability to manage classrooms and support diverse learners.
- Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning skills to design structured, progressive Japanese language courses.
- Strong Teaching and Instructional skills, including the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt methods to different learning styles.
- Language Arts and Communication skills, including proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) and clear communication in English.
- Relevant certification or formal training in Japanese language (e.g., JLPT qualification or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Languages, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools for classroom instruction and student assessment.
- Commitment to student development, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
