Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or equivalent qualification

About the Laboratory

We are an NABL-accredited testing laboratory, certified by the Ministry of AYUSH, specializing in the analytical testing of a wide range of AYUSH products and cosmetic formulations. Our laboratory is equipped with advanced analytical instruments, including HPLC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Disintegration Apparatus, and other specialized testing equipment.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform chemical and instrumental analysis of various AYUSH products, including Ayurvedic, Siddha and other herbal formulations, as well as cosmetic products.
- Conduct routine quality control tests on tablets, syrups, oils, creams, gels, ointments, powders, soaps, shampoos and other formulations.
- Operate and assist in handling specialized analytical instruments such as:
- HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography)
- UV-Visible Spectrophotometer
- Disintegration Apparatus
- Analytical Balance, pH Meter and other laboratory instruments.
- Perform wet chemical analysis, volumetric analysis and physicochemical testing as per approved testing methods and specifications.
- Assist in method development, method verification and analytical testing projects.
- Handle assigned laboratory projects and ensure timely completion of testing activities.
- Prepare reagents, standard solutions, reference solutions and test samples.
- Maintain laboratory records, worksheets, raw data and test reports in accordance with NABL requirements and ISO/IEC 17025 guidelines.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, quality procedures, safety practices and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration and cleanliness of laboratory equipment and work areas.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory techniques.
- Understanding of volumetric analysis and physicochemical testing.




- Willingness to learn and operate advanced analytical instruments.
- Good observation, documentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Interest in research, analytical testing and quality control.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with AYUSH, herbal products and cosmetic testing.
- Knowledge of NABL requirements and ISO/IEC 17025 is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in a chemical testing or pharmaceutical laboratory is desirable.
