Role Description The Testing & Commissioning Engineer (EEE) role is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai. The engineer will perform electrical testing and commissioning of equipment and systems in power plants and substations, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing test procedures, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, documenting test results, and preparing commissioning reports. The role involves close coordination with project teams, contractors, and clients, monitoring system performance during start-up, and supporting safe, reliable handover of electrical installations.



The engineer will also assist in preventive maintenance planning, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous improvement of testing and commissioning methodologies. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Testing and Testing of power systems and equipment.
• Candidates should possess domain expertise in Electrical Engineering and practical experience as Commissioning Engineers.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of electrical installations and protection systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Experience in power plants, substations, or industrial electrical projects is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, safety practices, and testing instruments used in power systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in field conditions and team environments.
