Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect with 810 years of relevant experience in designing, architecting, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions, with strong expertise in CMDB, CSDM, and Integration architecture.

The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform architecture, administration, server-side and client-side scripting, integrations, security, automation, and application development. The candidate will be responsible for defining scalable technical architectures, ensuring CMDB data quality and integrity, optimizing platform performance, and providing technical leadership across ServiceNow implementations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable ServiceNow platform architectures aligned with enterprise requirements.

- Define and govern CMDB architecture, CSDM framework, and Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) configurations.

- Lead ServiceNow technical design, development, configuration, and integration activities.

- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts.

- Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.

- Establish secure integration frameworks using OAuth 2.0, certificates, and authentication mechanisms.

- Design data ingestion and transformation solutions using Import Sets and Transform Maps.

- Define ServiceNow security architecture, including ACLs, roles, and access controls.

- Architect Service Catalog solutions, workflow automation, and Flow Designer implementations.

- Design configurable workspaces and user experiences using UI Builder.

- Establish development and testing standards using Automated Test Framework (ATF).

- Lead scoped application development and application/plugin lifecycle management.

- Perform platform performance optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

- Assess ServiceNow upgrades,



evaluate technical impacts, and ensure platform compatibility.

- Provide technical guidance, architectural recommendations, and best practices to development teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

1. ServiceNow Platform Architecture

- Robust expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, administration, and configuration.

- Experience in enterprise-level ServiceNow solution design and implementation.

- Knowledge of application and plugin lifecycle management.

2. CMDB & CSDM

- Strong hands-on experience with CMDB architecture and implementation.

- Good understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

- Expertise in Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).

- Experience in CMDB data modeling, data integrity, and governance.

3. ServiceNow Development & Scripting

- Strong JavaScript programming skills.

- Hands-on experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts.

- Experience with server-side and client-side scripting.

- Knowledge of scoped application development.

4. Integration Architecture

- Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

- Strong understanding of MID Server architecture and enterprise integrations.

- Experience with OAuth 2.0, certificates, and integration security.

- Knowledge of Import Sets, Transform Maps, and data integrations.

5. Security & Access Management

- Experience designing ACLs, roles, and access control mechanisms.

- Understanding of ServiceNow security architecture and integration security.

6. UI, Automation & Testing

- Experience with Service Catalog and workflow automation.

- Knowledge of UI Builder and configurable workspace architecture.

- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).

7. Performance & Platform Management

- Experience in platform performance optimization and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of ServiceNow upgrades and technical impact assessments.

- Ability to define technical standards and recommend architectural best practices.
