Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

We are working with a leading global media technology company seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join its growing engineering team.

This is an exciting chance to work at the forefront of the media and entertainment industry, supporting the infrastructure and platforms that power video streaming services for some of the world's leading broadcasters, content providers and operators.

As an SRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, performance and availability of mission-critical platforms, working closely with engineering, development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the reliability, availability and performance of large-scale, cloud-based production environments.
- Design, implement and maintain monitoring, alerting and observability solutions.
- Automate operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability and system resilience.
- Identify and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering and infrastructure teams to improve system architecture and operational performance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Support incident management,



troubleshooting and continuous service improvement.
- Establish and monitor SLIs, SLOs and service reliability metrics.
- Drive best practices in cloud infrastructure, security, disaster recovery and high availability.

Experience & Skills

- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash or similar languages.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking and distributed architectures.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or Splunk.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting high-availability, business-critical production environments.

Desirable Experience

- Previous experience within video streaming, OTT, broadcast technology or media platforms.
- Understanding of video delivery workflows, CDN infrastructure and streaming technologies.
- Experience working in high-traffic, low-latency environments.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
