SmokinMe is focused on creating and managing safe, clearly defined designated smoking zones in urban environments. The company works with global businesses and property managers to organize smoking areas that are compliant with regulations and mindful of public health. SmokinMe aims to improve city experiences by reducing second hand smoke exposure in shared spaces while still accommodating individuals who smoke.

Role Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented SEO Intern who wants hands-on experience in SEO, content writing, and organic growth.

What you’ll do

- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Write SEO-friendly blogs and website content based on relevant keywords and search intent.
- Optimise existing blogs and web pages for search engines.
- Work on on-page SEO, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and website performance.
- Assist with technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO research tools.
- Stay updated on SEO trends and Google algorithm updates.
- Able to work on country specific rankings of the website.

What we’re looking for

- Good understanding of SEO fundamentals.
- Good writing and research skills.
- Ability to write explicit,



engaging, and well-structured content.
- Familiarity with keyword research and on-page SEO.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Additional Skills (Preferred / Added Advantage):
- Working knowledge of WordPress website management and Elementor.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for website development, website modifications and front-end editing.
- Ability to independently publish blogs, update website pages, manage website content and make basic changes.
- Familiarity with Meta Ads management (Facebook & Instagram).
- Ability to coordinate with external digital marketing agencies, monitor their activities, review their work and evaluate campaign performance.
- Understanding of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, website performance tracking.
- Knowledge of other digital marketing tools and platforms will be an added advantage.

Note: These skills are not mandatory but will be given preference during the selection process.

Freshers are welcome to apply. Prior experience in SEO, blogging, or content writing will be a plus.
