Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain end-to-end marketing automation solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

- Build and maintain Journey Builder campaigns, including Review Farming, Customer Surveys and Abandoned Cart journeys.

- Develop Automation Studio workflows involving SQL Query Activities, Import Activities, File Drop automations, and Script Activities.

- Design and maintain Data Extensions, customer data models, segmentation logic, and campaign audience preparation.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for customer segmentation, product mapping, campaign eligibility, data reconciliation, and reporting.

- Develop API-driven automation solutions using REST API, SOAP API, SSJS, WSProxy, and AMPscript.

- Configure and troubleshoot API Event Definitions, journey entry events, customer event ingestion, and real-time journey triggering.

- Develop dynamic and personalized email campaigns using AMPscript, dynamic content, and reusable email templates.

- Support CloudPages development, survey landing pages, JavaScript validations, and customer-facing campaign interactions.

- Implement localized campaigns and country-specific email requirements, including legal/compliance content and document links.

- Perform campaign testing, audience validation, journey testing, automation validation,



and production deployment sanity checks.

- Monitor campaign execution, troubleshoot automation failures, journey issues, SQL errors, API errors, and data inconsistencies.

- Develop campaign tracking and reporting queries for sends, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, and customer engagement.

- Support production deployments, release management, hypercare, and ongoing campaign maintenance.

- Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, validate implementation approaches, and ensure successful campaign execution.

Required Technical Skills

- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and external system integrations.

- Advanced knowledge of Journey Builder and Automation Studio.

- Strong SQL skills within SFMC Query Activities.

- Experience with Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and customer data modelling.

- Hands-on AMPscript and SSJS development.

- Experience with SFMC REST API, SOAP API, and WSProxy.

- Experience with Postman for API authentication, testing, and debugging.

- Solid understanding of Email Studio, dynamic content, personalization, and campaign execution.

- Experience in SFMC tracking, reporting, troubleshooting, and production support.
