Role Description The RCI-Registered Clinical Psychologist – CBT Therapist (CRR Mandatory) will provide structured cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based psychological interventions to individuals with a range of mental health conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, formulating case conceptualizations, designing and delivering CBT treatment plans, and documenting progress in accordance with professional and hospital standards. The role involves administering and interpreting psychological tests, collaborating with psychiatrists and other clinical team members, participating in case discussions, and providing psychoeducation to clients and caregivers.

The therapist will also contribute to clinical supervision,



quality improvement initiatives, and may assist in training junior staff or interns. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Shadithya Hospital in Chennai.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in clinical settings.
- Proficiency in Counseling Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, including assessment, case formulation, and structured intervention.
- Skills in Psychological Testing, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized clinical tools.
- Experience in Mental Health care across diverse populations, with sensitivity to cultural and individual differences.
- Ability to provide or participate in Clinical Supervision, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and maintain ethical practice.
- Mandatory RCI registration with CRR; Master’s or M.Phil/Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain clinical concepts clearly to clients and families.
- Comfort working in an on-site hospital setting, managing caseloads, and adhering to clinical protocols and confidentiality standards.
- Prior experience in CBT, hospital-based psychiatric services, or de-addiction programs is highly desirable.
