Role Description The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable and secure network infrastructure across the organization. Day-to-day tasks include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment, monitoring network performance, and resolving connectivity or performance issues. The role involves collaborating with IT teams to support network-related projects, applying security best practices, and documenting network topology, configurations, and procedures.
The Network
Engineer will also assist in capacity planning, upgrades, and continuous improvement of network resilience and efficiency. This is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design,
including configuring and optimizing routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Network Administration, including monitoring, performance tuning, and managing network services and devices.
- Hands-on experience with Troubleshooting network issues using diagnostic tools and systematic problem-solving methods.
- Knowledge of Network Security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, access control, and security policies.
- Familiarity with common networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and enterprise environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and document configurations and procedures.

Working Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
