Node.js Backend Engineer (Kogito & GCP)

Experience: 7 years in backend development, including 3 years building and deploying microservices on GCP or Kubernetes.

Experience in healthcare claims processing and BPM platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Node.js/TypeScript microservices for claims intake, workflow processing, task management, notifications, and downstream integrations.

- Build secure REST APIs, PostgreSQL database models, and event-driven integrations using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.





- Integrate backend services with Kogito workflows, BPMN processes, DMN decision services, and AI/IDP platforms.

- Implement reliability patterns such as idempotency, retries, dead-letter queues, and event publishing.

- Ensure PHI-compliant logging, auditability, monitoring, and OpenTelemetry observability.

- Drive code quality, performance optimization, secure coding practices, and provide L3 production support.
